Cuervo has just been a trooper lately. Normally he goes whereever I go, even if it means sitting in the van for hours waiting for me to come back. The past few days it has been ugly outside, rainy, drizzly, windy and I'm not one to have the stinky wet dog smell in my ride since he generally hangs out the window while I drive and catches all the spray. So I decided to just leave him home in his pen while I did what I had to do and was gone for most of the day. I really expected him to be all wet when I got back home but he was hunkered down in his coop out of the elements most of the days and was dry as a bone. So all I had to do was dry off his feet and let him in the house where he proceeded to tell us all about his day and jumped up on the couch in front of the wood stove and nodded out. B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.
On another note, if you haven't already seen this video I highly suggest you make it a point to do so at some point. It's very inspirational and will make you change the way you say and do things for the better. It touches on quantum physics (yeah I know, it sounds heavier than it really is) but you need to spend an hour and watch this video. You can watch it online if you have broadband for $4.95 or purchase the dvd for $29.95. I get nothing for passing this on other than knowing you'll be better off by watching it. Tomorrow I drive to Detroit for a very important meeting. Cuervo will have to hang out at home - alone again, and wonder why he can't come along. I'll think of him often and look forward to getting back home and giving him some attention and excercise.
